Product Description & Planting Guide

Seeds produce branching stems with papery, funnel‑shaped flower clusters in shades of lavender, violet, and soft blue. Blooms hold their color after drying. Plants form basal rosettes of oblong leaves. Flowers appear from mid to late summer. Suitable for fresh or dried arrangements.

  • Sun: Full sun.

  • Soil: Well-drained, sandy or average soil. Tolerates poor soil.

  • Planting: Sow directly after frost, lightly cover with soil. Space 25-30cm apart.

  • Water: Water regularly until established. Drought-tolerant once mature.

  • Bloom: Summer to early autumn.

  • Harvest: Cut for drying just as flowers fully open. Hang upside down in cool, dark place.

  • Care: Deadheading not required for drying but prolongs blooming. Self-seeds readily.
