Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to eligible orders delivered to the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Italy, and Mexico.

Germany-specific provisions: The section titled “Statutory Right of Withdrawal — Germany Only” below applies exclusively to consumers purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession and having their orders delivered to Germany. For these orders, that section takes precedence over any conflicting conditions in our voluntary 30-day return policy. It does not extend the Germany-specific provisions to orders delivered to the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, or Spain. Mandatory consumer rights in those countries remain unaffected.

Orders delivered to France: Mandatory consumer rights under applicable French and EU consumer law remain unaffected. Where mandatory law conflicts with our voluntary return policy, mandatory law prevails.

30-Day Return Policy

You may request a return within 30 calendar days after receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

• New, unused, and in the same condition in which it was received;
• In its original packaging;
• Accompanied by the receipt or other proof of purchase.

We accept eligible returns for both defective and non-defective products.

For consumers in Germany only: The eligibility conditions above apply to our voluntary 30-day return service. They do not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal or your statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.

Please include your order number, the product concerned, and the reason for your return.

Returns must be approved before they are sent. Products returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

All approved returns must be returned by mail to the address provided in our return instructions.

For statutory withdrawals by consumers in Germany only: Giving a reason is optional, and prior approval is not required to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. Please contact us to arrange your free return shipping label and obtain the appropriate return address. This administrative process does not make your withdrawal dependent on our approval.

Return Shipping and Fees

For approved returns:

• We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to the customer.
• We do not charge any restocking fee.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the product was defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise required by applicable law.

For statutory withdrawals by consumers in Germany only: We also cover the direct cost of return shipping and provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Reimbursement of the original delivery charges is governed by the Germany-specific withdrawal section below.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at support@senlanseed.com. Please provide your order number and clear photographs showing the problem so that we can review the issue and provide an appropriate solution.

For consumers in Germany only: Our request for prompt inspection and photographs is intended to help us resolve your issue. It does not impose an additional deadline or condition that restricts your statutory rights. Statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming goods are separate from the right of withdrawal and are not limited to our voluntary 30-day return period.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

• Products that have been opened, used, planted, damaged after delivery, or removed from their original packaging;
• Custom, personalized, or special-order products;
• Gift cards;
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

These exclusions do not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

For consumers in Germany only: The exclusions listed above apply to our voluntary 30-day return service and do not automatically exclude statutory withdrawal rights or statutory remedies for defective goods. Opening packaging or removing original packaging does not, by itself, eliminate a statutory right of withdrawal. The rules on diminished value and statutory exceptions in the Germany-specific section below apply.

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted for eligible products requested within 30 calendar days after delivery, subject to product availability.

Please contact support@senlanseed.com before returning an item for exchange. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer a refund or another suitable solution.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 calendar days. Your bank, credit card company, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

If you have not received an approved refund after 15 business days, please contact support@senlanseed.com.

For statutory withdrawals by consumers in Germany only: The reimbursement rules and deadlines in the following section apply instead of any conflicting approval or processing conditions above. Our internal inspection or approval process does not extend the applicable statutory reimbursement deadline.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal — Germany Only

Scope

This section applies only to consumers purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession and having their orders delivered to Germany. It supplements our voluntary 30-day return service and takes precedence over any conflicting provisions elsewhere in this policy for those orders. It does not change the return arrangements for orders delivered to the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, or Spain.

Your Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, subject to any applicable statutory exceptions.

The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. If multiple goods ordered in a single order are delivered separately, the period begins after you or that third party receive the last good. If goods are delivered in multiple lots or pieces, the period begins after receipt of the last lot or piece.

How to Exercise Your Right

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or a letter sent by post, using the following contact details:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. You do not need to provide a reason or obtain our approval to exercise this right.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Returning the Goods

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days after the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before that 14-day period expires.

We will bear the direct cost of returning the goods and provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please contact support@senlanseed.com promptly to arrange the label and receive the appropriate return address. You do not need to wait for the label or our reply before sending your withdrawal notice.

The contact address above is provided for correspondence and withdrawal notices. Please use the return address specified on our prepaid return label or in our return instructions for the goods.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

Effects of Withdrawal and Reimbursement

If you withdraw from the entire purchase contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you under that contract, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We are not required to reimburse additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a delivery option more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

Unless we have offered to collect the goods ourselves, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Handling the Goods and Diminished Value

You may examine the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Original packaging is not an absolute condition for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

You are only liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that examination, and only where the applicable legal conditions for such liability are met, including the required information about your right of withdrawal.

Using or planting seeds may go beyond the handling necessary to examine them and may cause diminished value. Any such case will be assessed under applicable law, rather than treated as an automatic loss of your statutory right of withdrawal.

Statutory Exceptions

Any exclusion of the statutory right of withdrawal applies only where the goods and circumstances meet an exception provided by applicable law. For example, an exception may apply to genuinely personalized goods or goods made to the consumer’s individual specifications.

We do not treat all seeds as exempt from withdrawal simply because they are seeds. Likewise, describing a product as a “special order,” opening its packaging, or listing it in our voluntary non-returnable categories does not by itself establish a statutory exception.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under the applicable laws of the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, or Spain.

For consumers having orders delivered to Germany, nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights or remedies under applicable German or EU consumer protection law. The Germany-specific provisions above apply only to that market and do not replace or reduce any statutory rights.
