Slender stems bear small white flowers with four petals arranged in a loose spiral. Blooms open from pink buds. Narrow, lance-shaped green leaves. Flowers appear from summer to autumn. Suitable for borders or cottage gardens.

  • Sowing: Surface sow; needs light. Cold stratify 4 weeks.

  • Location: Full sun.

  • Soil: Well-drained, sandy or loamy.

  • Water: Keep moist; drought-tolerant once established.

  • Care: Cut back after first flush for rebloom. Self-seeds lightly.
