Product Description & Planting Guide

        Oval, dark brown to black seeds with a hard coat. Mature plants produce long, jointed rhizomes with cream-colored flesh. Large, rounded leaves float above water. Suitable for ponds or large containers.

Sowing: Scarify seed coat. Soak in warm water. Germination in 3–10 days.

Location: Full sun, 6–8 hours daily. Still water or muddy soil.

Soil: Heavy clay soil or mud. Cover with 5–10 cm water.

Water: Keep water depth constant. Never let soil dry out.

Care: Fertilize monthly. Divide rhizomes every 2–3 years.
